Restore damage without replacing a sound bumper
Bumpers often pick up the evidence of tight parking spaces and unseen low walls. We assess scuffs, scratches, dents, cracks and local paint damage before deciding if the existing bumper can be saved. Its material, the position of the damage and the severity of any split or distortion all affect the repair route. A focused car bumper repair can preserve a serviceable part while restoring its shape and appearance. Our completed project gallery includes bumper work, so you can see examples of the transformation before enquiring.

Shape, preparation and colour must work together
We begin by cleaning the area so the true extent of the damage is visible. Depending on its condition, we may reshape the bumper or repair and fill the damaged section. Sanding and surface preparation create a level base before colour matching and refinishing. If the damage is too severe or affects an unsuitable area, replacement may make more sense. At our East Kilbride workshop, we explain which route is practical rather than promising a repair before examining the bumper properly.
Frequently asked questions
Can a cracked bumper be repaired?
Some cracks can be repaired, but suitability depends on the bumper material, crack position and extent of the damage. We inspect the area first and recommend replacement if a lasting, practical repair is not appropriate.
Will the repaired area match the paint?
We prepare the surface and select colour for the affected bumper before applying the finish. Existing paint condition and colour variation can influence the work needed, so we assess the surrounding area as part of the quote.
Do you repair small bumper scuffs?
Yes. Local scuffs and scratches may suit a focused repair when the rest of the bumper is sound. We still check the depth of the mark because damage through the paint layers needs more preparation than a surface rub.
