Clear choices after an at-fault accident
Causing an accident is stressful enough without struggling to understand the repair route. If you are claiming under your own comprehensive policy, we first need the vehicle details, incident circumstances, damaged areas, driveability and insurer information. We can then assess the work and discuss the available help with your policy excess. An at fault car repair may follow an insurance-funded route, or you may prefer to compare it with a privately funded repair once the damage and likely work are understood.

Repair authority comes before workshop work
We do not begin insurance-funded bodywork until the required authority is established. Once the route is agreed, we coordinate panel repair or replacement, suitable parts, surface preparation and paint refinishing. The amount of available excess help can be discussed against the individual job rather than assumed in advance. If you choose private payment, we provide a free vehicle repair quote based on the damage we can assess. Our East Kilbride workshop keeps the claim position and repair plan clear from the outset.
Frequently asked questions
Can you help with my policy excess?
Help with the policy excess is available for fault accident repairs. The exact position depends on the individual repair and claim, so we review it with you after understanding the damage and your insurance route.
Do I have to make an insurance claim?
Not always. Depending on the damage and your policy position, you may wish to compare an insurance claim with a privately funded repair. We can assess the vehicle and explain the repair work, but insurance decisions remain yours.
What details should I provide after the accident?
Tell us the registration, make and model, when and how the incident happened, which areas are damaged and whether the vehicle can be driven. If you are claiming, include your insurer and claim reference where available.
